"This is the 6th commission, over 20 years, that I have asked Doris to design
for me. I give her free reign in design after we discuss what I would like to see. I also ask her to do better than the best
she can do. Her skill and talent is unmatched. I have never been dissappointed. Each of her designs have been unique, and she
endeavors to find unique handmade glass that in itself is a work of art. Her expert workmanship, color sense and attention
to detail is something that is rarely seen today. The artwork she has created for my home is the focal point of the room that
it is installed in...and I have many rooms of her artwork".

“Doris helped us design a beautiful stained glass
window for our home, and then she created it and made it into a beautiful piece of art - way beyond my expectations. She is
lovely to work with and highly interactive and generous with her time, energy and insights. Now when I look at the window,
I not only enjoy it for its beauty but also for the memory of the delightful journey we took together from start to finish.”

is one of 6 windows that Doris designed and built for me, that I donated to my family synagogue in Long Island NY. Doris
listened to me and what I envisioned and wanted to see in the final design/installation. She worked with me on budget, design-concept,
and fabrication to achieve all that I wanted and more. I plan to commission her to do additional windows in the Synagogue
in the near future".

invited Doris to participate in our "Craft Landscape" exhibition. She beautifully interpreted the signature poster for the
event, in glass".

"The Peacock Window that I commissioned Doris to create exceeded my expectations
in detail and intricacy. It was the fourth commission she did me. Doris carefully selected unique and vibrant hand made glass;
included numerous special 3-dimensional sculptural effects using wires, brass filigree, a large dragonfly sculpture that practically
flies off the panel and glass jewels accents. I think this is the best work she has done. It was featured in the HOME &
DESIGN Magazine, of The Journal News on October 21, 2005. Doris and her stained glass work is the feature cover story. That
says it all!"
-S. Sternbach, Yonkers NY
absolutely love my window. Doris designed a Victorian style window that captured the essence of what I envisioned. She listened
carefully to the concept elements that I wanted, was consistent in her personalized service to me, and worked with great detail
selecting the glass for each piece. It was exciting to be part of the planning stage and to watch Doris grow the design from
a sketch, to a pattern, to a window. Her excitement about glass selection and her work on my window was wonderfully infectious".

five years I have commissioned Doris to design an 'Anniversary Panel' for my wife. This one was for year 10. Year 15 is coming
up now, and I'm calling her soon to start planning it. Doris has worked with me on four panels, each with a unique theme but
always using the number of years or the number 3- which is our family unit (3 Deer are in this medallion). She does exactly
what I want and adds a creative touch that always surprises me. She engraved poems and sayings that I gave her into each of
the panels. The inscription makes this work of art, more personalized than any gift I could give my wife".

"The stained glass windows which you fashioned have brought beauty and much inspiration
to our Jewish Heritage Center. I can only imagine the number of hours, and the careful and inspired sense that went
into each of the scenes." - Rabbi David Greenberg (Shaaray Tefila Synagogue) - Windows
Designed by Linda Lieff Altabef).
loved your windows. Many were breathless, I certainly was. Even at night they hold their power and beauty. It was a
night of spiritual beauty. We all thank you for the love and dedication you put into this work of art. It will
live in our Temple for generations to come and they in turn will be inspired." - B. Krasnow/Bldgs and Grounds Committee
provided a photo of my pet Macaw, and Doris created the most beautiful image of it. I couldn't be happier. It was more beautiful
than I expected".
"After viewing your work installed at Meadowview,
my brother, husband and I agree that this is absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing your wonderful artistic talent to
help express our family's desire to tangibly honor God and my Dad - with pleasure for others to see. I want to
especially thank you for your patience and listening (with understanding) in working with my sometimes "picky" family.
That you truly understood what we wanted is evidenced in your magnificent work. I do hope that we will have an
opportunity to meet someday, so that I may thank and compliment you in person. Please accept this email note of appreciation
until that time. God bless you." - C. Hoffmeier (This
panel was donated by the family, in memory of the clients' father who was a resident at Meadowview Assisted Living Center,
Mount Vernon, NY)
"I created this design for my entry door and asked Doris to fabricate it in stained
glass for me. She found hand rolled glass in colors that exactly matched my drawing and what I imagined it to be. The glass
is deeply mottled and changes dimension all day as the light changes outside. She even added a faceted jewel that moves, so
that when someone comes to the door, I swing it aside and look through the clear glass to see who is there. I know no
one has anything like that in their home. Her work is awesome".
